Elections are held annually for our Board of Directors and Nominating Committee. The process starts with the Nominating Committee’s effort to identify candidates to participate in the election.

The Nominating Committee is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and nominating candidates for the Board of Directors and the next year’s Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee is independent from the of the Board of Directors and management of the Association, making their role important to the preservation of stockholder control. The Board of Directors represent the interests of our stockholders by overseeing the strategic direction of the Association. To learn more about Director responsibilities, see The Director’s Role. Members interested in a Board position will be asked to complete a Standards of Conduct and Code of Ethics certification which will be used to verify eligibility to run and serve as a director.
